Before finals

Oh school..... Actually according to my Western Civ. professor I shouldn't call it school but university, so ...... Oh university. I have quite a bit to do before finals. I have one week left of classes then I have my finals. before finals I have to write a paper for my sociology experiment. I need to write a 10 page research paper for Western Civ. Then I need to go to the writing center and finish my research paper for writing and research. I am definitely worried about my Western Civ. class. I need to get a good grade on my paper as well as the final. I know I can pass it but it will take a lot of work. Pray for wisdom. But after all this is done I get to go home and enjoy Christmas! I think that having all this stress will make my Christmas and break much more enjoyable because I will be so stressed but then I will go home and my life will be virtually carefree. I just need prayer for wisdom and strength to get through this next week and a half. I can't wait until I am done with this semester! 

Christmas Music

So I listened to Christmas music for the first time this holiday season this week. It made me so happy! I am really excited for Christmas, I always am, but the whole family will be home this Christmas so I am really excited. It also could be that I am living away from home so I am really excited to be home with everyone celebrating. 

I have always loved Christmas. Everything about the entire season makes me really happy. I love all the baked goods, the decorations, the gift exchanging, the smells, and especially the music. Christmas music and Christmas movies just make the season for me. That can never cease to put a smile on my face. Everything is wonderful about Christmas. Thank you Lord for sending Jesus to be born as a little baby boy so that we might celebrate his birth with a little thing called Christmas. We can't forget that Jesus is the reason for the season (I hate that phrase but it is ever so true)

Tired

So on Friday night I went to Christ Lutheran in La Mesa for a lock-in. I did this with YMT (Youth Ministry Team) here at school. It was sooooo much fun. We played all these really fun games and we had an awesome bible study. I was a little hesitant at first because it was Jr. High kids, but these kids were really cool. Me and Jr. highers rarely get along but these were very respectful and fun kids. We had some really good discussion and nearly all of them participate in the games. We stayed up ALL night. Usually at the lock-ins I go to we only stay up till 2 or so, but we went all night. I probably got about 45 minutes of sleep during the movie that we watched. 

Doing this lock-in made me really excited to be a DCE. It was really really fun. I knew God was working with and through us to reach these kids. It was a great experience, but now I am still tired and it is Sunday. I slept a lot the past two days but I still need more. But it was one of the best feelings to crawl into my bed Saturday morning. When you go 24 hours without sleep your bed is definitely the best thing you can think of. It was a good weekend but I just need a little more sleep. 

Good day

So today was a very good day. It was relatively stress free. I had my 7:30 class this morning which I got out early from. Then I came back to my room and got to take a really long nap because my sociology class was cancelled today. Then later today I have my last Freshman Seminar class, and I have a paper due in that class that I finished last night! Usually I would be working on it now. But my day is free and all I have to do tonight is read. Plus lunch was delicious! Shout is also tonight! (our student lead worship service) Thank you Jesus for this wonderful day!

Hey I just remembered that I have a blog! I haven't posted in about 2 years. I read all of my old posts and they were really depressing... eeeek. So I decided i would start fresh! Here it is! Not emo anymore! Anyways......
